The blogroll thing

I asked people to recommend some blogs I might enjoy, as I never find time to look for them myself…

Here were your suggestions, they’re all great so take a look:

http://compostbins.blogspot.com

http://contrarygoddess.blogspot.com/

http://apiferafarm.blogspot.com/

http://matronofhusbandry.wordpress.com/

http://doloresdays.blogspot.com/

http://yastm.blogspot.com/

http://thepioneerwoman.com/

As promised, they will all be added to my bloglist when I can get round to it.

I’m also sending a surprise gift to the best one, which in my humble opinion is…

All the Days of Dolores!!

She describes herself as a…  “Gifted and very lovely English specimen having triffic times in France with husband and critters.”

I’ll be sending her a signed copy of Ian’s book, Coq & Bull, which I think she’ll enjoy. (You can find out more about it here.)

  1. Hello Scarlet

Thank you Hugely for this and for contacting me on mine, which was a delightful surprise.

I’ve just spent a very pleasant while footling round the many parts of your blog – lots of fun! Love all the pics too.

Your way of life is fascinating (not least the compost loo in the b&b)! We cannot pretend to be super-green, but this week I did make a very effective non-chemical weed-despatching potion from salt & vinegar…

The offer of Ian’s book is exceeding kind – thank you both greatly, and I’ll email my address

  2. Thank you so much for ‘Coq & Bull’, which I received today.

Just opening at random I found very funny snippets, eg: “Guns make good copy – like drugs and pornography and anything else that isn’t generally available at Tesco.”

I know it’s going to be a terrific read – thanks again.

  3. I love the site for Color it Green!
